Couple faces law for possesing fake university documents, passports
"link2media.co.za", Sourh Africa on 28th November 2011: A Chinese couple who were caught in possession of fake University of South Africa (UNISA) diploma certificates will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law said Gherhardt Waldeck who heads up the student disciplinary department at the University. A Chinese couple appeared in the Germiston magistrate's court on charges related to transgression of South Africa's immigration laws as well as having suspected fake UNISA certificates and blank Chinese passports in their possession, a Gauteng police spokesman said. He said the police had found a number of stolen documents that included new Chinese passports, four South African ID's as well as 1 100 signed UNISA certificates suspected to be fake.
