Computer institute owner allegedly issued bogus certificates
“indianexpress.com”, India on 02nd August 2011 : The local crime branch (LCB) of Pune rural police have filed a complaint of cheating and forgery against a computer institute owner for allegedly issuing fake Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology (MSCIT) to students. Mansuk Raskar (25), who operates a computer institute at Rajgurunagar, has been arrested. Investigations revealed Raskar had issued fake MSCIT certificates to over 500 students in the district. Kisan Vishnu Adak (42), a resident of Tirhewadi Road, Rajgurunagar, lodged a complaint with the Rajgurunagar police. Adak’s niece Suvarna Walunj had taken admission at Raskar’s Mackard Computer Education Institute for MSCIT course. Raskar collected a fee of Rs. 2,200 from Suvarna.
