Fake nurse faces trial for certificate forgery

“234next.com”, Nigeria on 05th June 2011 : A 25-year-old man, Tokunbo Ajayi, who allegedly practised nursing using a forged Nursing and Midwifery Certificate was arraigned in Lagos last weekend. Mr Ajayi is standing trial before Magistrate Demi Ajayi of a Yaba court in Lagos on a two-count charge of forgery. The prosecutor, Chinalu Uwadire, told the court that the accused on September 9, 2006 forged the notification registration as a general nurse with reference No. M&MCN/2006/165, purported to have been issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
