“Daily Times” Pakistan on 02nd December 2010 : An election tribunal of the Lahore High Court comprising Justice Mamoonur Rashid on Wednesday directed the Jamshoroo University registrar to produce complete education record of PML-N MPA Safdar Gill. The directive was issued on a petition filed by a voter, Imran Ahmad, who challenged the election of Safdar Gill from PP-274 Bahawalpur-VIII. The petitioner had alleged that Gill had filed a fake BA degree and stood disqualified under Article 62 of the constitution. He requested the court to summon the MPA to explain his position.
