WASHINGTON, USA: According to The Daily News dated August 05, 2010, Government Accountability Office investigators deliberately used fraudulent material to obtain US passports to check system’s efficiency. In the most recent probe, investigators applied for seven passports and received three. In two other cases, the applications were initially approved but later denied when fraud was discovered. Officials are saying that the result shows that it is still possible for culprits to obtain US Passport using fake documents.
