India: Policemen threatens fake mark sheet scammer

CHENNAI, India: According to the Times of India dated 1 Aug 2010, two policemen have been suspected to have allegedly threatened Ekambaram, the prime accused in the fake marksheet scam, not to reveal the identity of senior education officials who were involved in the fake marksheet racket. The fake marksheet racket was busted when the director of government examinations Vasundara Devi lodged a police complaint against 10 plus-two students who appeared for medical college admissions in Chennai with false certificates.
