India: Doctors provide fake medical certificates

GOA, India: According to the Sify News dated 6 July 2010, the District and Sessions Court during a plea for interim bail of former Goa minister, Mickky Pacheco, has sent his medical certificates to the medical board for verification. Government doctors may have issued bogus medical certificates to ensure that Pacheco, an accused in a culpable homicide case, skipped judicial custody.
